What is CPAP?

CPAP stands for "continuous positive airway pressure". Today, CPAP is considered the most effective non-invasive treatment for Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). CPAP works by delivering air through a mask that is attached to either the nose, mouth or both. The pressurised air acts to keep the airway open.
